Selection Criteria

The admissions decision are based on your academic records, motivation, English proficiency, extracurricular activities and a successful interview attempt. The entrance requirement for each program is given in the respective program page, it is recommended that you be aware of the requirements and go ahead with the application. Please note the admissions decision cannot be fulfilled without the necessary documents requested for the application.

  • Swiss Nationalities with ‘Berufsmaturität Ausrichtung Wirtschaft/Dienstleistungen’ or ‘Gymnasiale Matura’.
  • Should have completed High School/ Level 3 Diploma (UK standard) or equivalent
  • English Proficiency: If English is not your native language please provide us with an English Language test (TOEFL/ IELTS/ CAE B1/PTE) results to prove that you are capable to follow studies in English. 
  • A positive feedback from the admission interview
  • Bachelor´s Degree or equivalent.

  • A positive feedback from the admission interview.
  • The candidates who have an immense interest in learning the French language with an impressive motivation.
  • The candidates who have participated in a French language program in their home country and who wish to develop the language skills.
  • The candidates who wish to learn the French language for business.
  • The candidates who wish to learn the French language program for a career based.
  • The candidates who wish to extend the knowledge in French language and who has taken French as a third language program in School / College in their home country.

  • Bachelor program applicants:
    • An authorized copy of your High School transcripts or Diploma transcripts either in English or German.
  • Master program applicants:
    • An authorized copy of your Bachelor transcripts and or equivalent postgraduate diploma transcripts either in English or German.
    • An authorized copy of your course completed Bachelor Degree or Postgraduate Diploma either in English or German
    • Work experience letter.
    • GMAT certificate – if available

  • Copy of (TOEFL/ IELTS/ CAE B1/PTE) results
  • Copy of passport
  • Copy of Swiss residence permit – if available

Admission Process

Step 1.  ONLINE APPLICATION

Fill out your online application form, upload required documents. You will receive an auto-generated confirmation email if you have successfully submitted the application. 

Step 2.

A Skype/Telephone interview will be scheduled with an admissions officer.

Step 3.

After reviewing the submitted documents and interview, an admission decision will be made.

Step 4.

If you are accepted for the desired program, you will be sent an admission letter by email.

Step 5.

You will be sent an invoice for the admission fee (CHF 1000 – Switzerland campus applicants) / (CHF 2000 Switzerland and New York campuses applicants), which is to be paid within 7 days from the date of issuance of the admission letter.

Step 6 a. Acceptance 

After we receive your payment, you will be sent Letter of Acceptance and be officially registered at Hills School. 

VISA – Student B permit requirement 

Students are requested to register at the SPOP within 14 days from the date of issue of your acceptance letter. You may be asked to submit the below documents at the SPOP office:

  • Acceptance Letter 
  • Motivation Letter
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Accommodation proof that you are living in the Vaud Canton
  • A declaration that you shall leave Switzerland after the completion of your studies at Hills School, with date and signature
  • A proof of sufficient financial means to stay in Switzerland during the studies
  • Tuition fees payment receipt
  • Photocopy of the passport
  • 2 passport photographs

Please note, the visa requirement may differ for each nationality. The School shall process each student file according to the demands of the Swiss Embassy in their home country. It is recommended to get in touch with us.

Step 7

Start your studies at the given commencement date in your letter of acceptance. ( 2 weeks prior to start date you will be sent an email regarding the details of your first-day attendance)
